At Smart Mist USA, we offer various High Pressure Mist systems. Our flagship DIY kit is the most advanced 1000 psi misting system on the market. It features easy assembly with push lock fittings and stainless steel tubing which can be installed without any special knowledge or tools. Installation can be completed  in just a few hours.  The most unique feature however is the app-controlled pump. This state-of-the-art pump uses the phone app to control all functions of the system. These include on/off, interval spraying, daily scheduling and more.  This is the only 1000 psi misting system with these extremely useful features. With any misting system, there will be a point in which the temperature and humidity are such that the mist will travel too far downwards before evaporating. This will result in undesirable wetting of people and, or furniture.  By utilizing the interval spraying feature, this unpleasant eventuality can be avoided. Set the interval to 3 seconds on and 5 seconds off, or 6 seconds on and 3 seconds off. The scroll wheel on the app lets you choose just the right amount of mist in the air to keep the area dry and comfortable.

In addition to our app control misting kits, we also offer our line of commercial 1000 PSI Mist Systems. These kits include an industrial, heavy-duty pump with a 3-year warranty.  These pumps come in an impressive selection of sizes and types.  Flow rates of these pumps can range from ½ GPM (Gallons Per Minute) to over 20 GPM. They also come in three basic types to suit any need. These include Direct Drive, Pully Drive and Variable Frequency Drive ( VFD ).  The pumps are rated for continuous usage which means they can run all day without any fear of overheating or breakdowns. A commercial 1000psi mist system would be a great choice for spaces requiring high usage. These may include restaurants, bars, industrial cooling for animals, outdoor sports or entertainment venues, landscape fogging, and many other types of usages.  The pully drive systems are quieter than the direct drive systems and the VFD systems are also very quiet with many additional benefits. These include: The ability to operate different zones independently or together, the ability to shut off sections of a system, or the ability to change nozzle sizes. All of these scenarios take place without causing the pump and motor to overwork.

The concept of high pressure misting is often misunderstood.  Low and mid pressure systems produce much larger droplets which can create cooling. Unfortunately, these systems will cool you by getting you wet. High pressure mist systems cool using what is commonly known as the “Evaporative cooling Effect “. This type of cooling is created when the micro fine mist particles of high pressure misting evaporate. When this evaporation takes place, the surrounding air is cooled simultaneously. The key is to get the evaporation to occur before the mist reaches people and furniture. This is where the nozzle selection is important. The factors that will determine the nozzle selection are: Mounting height, and the temperature/humidity conditions.
